I am pretty new to modern overclocking, so apologies if I made any dumb mistakes. I’m trying to re-familiarize myself with overclocking modern hardware before I upgrade my PC to the latest and greatest.

Going from curve 1 to curve 2 (when I increased the right side of my curve upwards to increase the max frequency), my benchmark score dropped significantly from 8357 to 8135.

When the benchmark run ended, I saw a bunch of performance limit indicators on HWiNFO (last screenshot): power, reliability voltage, and max operating voltage, in addition to utilization.

Before this run, only the utilization performance limit was reached, which was why I thought there was room for higher clock speeds (and thus voltage).

My question is: if I only reached my power and voltage limits on curve 2, that means I am running at a higher frequency and voltage, right? Then why is my benchmark score lower? And if I really am throttled, shouldn’t I get a similar result as curve 1? Why am I doing worse?
