I use NT-H2. Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is pretty good but it is said that it dries up within a year or two. Check out Thermal Grizzly’s Kryosheet. Hardware Unboxed used it on the Asus RTX 4090 which stock, uses liquid metal, and it went from 58C to just 60C. This thing is amazingly good and no more messing with paste!

Off topic – ish – didn’t test those 2, but for me mx6 got the best results (tested mx4,5, kryonaut, kryonaut extreme).

Third option: get Prolimatech PK-3 if you really care about the marginal differences between pastes

Differences arent huge but since we’re prob talking about a very expensive build, i dont see why not go for the best pastes, but from them both nth1 is a better paste while tf7 will cure better but then will crackle. For the diferences into ihs he probably was talking about the rhiughness of the surface and not the straightness of it cause i professionally lap with 0,00mm precision and i can tell you that ive seen brand new cpus with well over 0,300mm diferences from one side to another no problem

I have NT-H2 and ThermalRight TF7 I would love to know which paste to use before my APEX Encore comes.

Since NT-H2 is easier to apply I’d choose this.
