I don‘t know much, but did pay attention to clocks and effective clocks (HWinfo). So the effective clock stays high while benching, without having much dips. I undervolted the 12900k with adaptive + offset to -0,1V. Later i went further down to 120mV. I did try different configurations on MSI Z690 Tomahawk DDR4 „All Core“ „Turbo Ratio“ „Turbo Ratio Offset“. The best balance by performance and score (CineBench 2024) and further temps was „turbo ratio“ at P- and E-Cores and everything else Auto. Except the voltage i was talking about.
12900k CineBench: 1406 MC. Around 200-220W. And not touching 100°C.
With the settings All Core Turbo, Auto Vcore etc i had mostly under 1400 pts like 1360.
I‘m a bit wrong here in the overclocking section, but here is the most wisdom.
I tried OC, but that was too much for my NH-D15 with one fan setup.
Maybe we can share UV and Cinebench 2024 results of the 14900k.
