I had a lot of extra NZXT spare parts laying around and I’ve been debating for awhile getting the H5 Flow to slowly build my extra computer with. So I jumped on the decent price for this (keep in mind I purchased this as New, Sold and shipped from Amazon) and the second I see the packaging I was extremely suspicious of it. I also wondered if I even got what I ordered considering how the box has been less than refurbished basically and was odd Amazon would be ok with this. As I suspected judging this box book by the cover style the case is there…But well, the pictures speak for itself. I was just like….Nope, not today scammer.

You can contact Amazon and get a refund. If you bought it as new, it should be new

I don’t think NZXT uses Nike boxes as packaging material, clearly not new.

  3. LOL

Looks like a 3rd party seller accepted a return without opening the box

Amazon has been getting worse and worse the past few years.

Sold and shipped by amazon? I doubt it.

Got a SS of this being shipped and sold from Amazon?

  11. Yeah, Amazon does this alot. It happened with me when I ordered a Brand new Logitech steering wheel. It was clearly a used wheel. I tried to keep it but fortunately/unfortunately It died a week later.

I ended up buying a new wheel from Best Buy for 20 dollars less.

As consumers, we have to hold these companies feet to the fire to expect better of them. Plus we should also be pushing for higher penalties from the Government when companies are caught pulling shady shit like this.

I recently had a similar experience – [Pic](https://i.imgur.com/8nsQQhV.jpg) – Sold & shipped by Amazon, brand new monitor and yet, when I removed the protective screen cover, there was an obnoxious amount of fingerprints and smudges all along the top and side edges of the screen. On top of that, the display would intermittently cut in and out at random, sometimes forcing me to unplug/plug in the power cord because the image wouldn’t always come back.

Clearly this was a defective/destroyed unit someone shipped back at one point and Amazon just placed it right back on the shelves.

Doesn’t look like they used enough old nike boxes

Recently bought a motherboard from Amazon listed as new

Turns up as an open box but looks in perfect condition, Amazon has a habit of selling their returns as new

Had a moan with CS and got 20% off (plus a £5 promotion I used) so £35 for a A320 mobo wasn’t too bad

But anything more expensive I would’ve just returned

Have you tried putting it in rice overnight?

  16. WhatHappendThereBRO

Did you tried turning it on and off?

Shipped and sold by Amazon? That’s surprising. Good news is that they should allow a return fairly easily and you can get a replacement or your money back.

This is how I imagine the item looks when it’s the last one left.

In my experience, Amazons return policy is second to none.

  20. Looks like they packaged it up on Fuck It Friday and just sent it.

It fell off the truck, but don’t worry!! They duck taped the box together!!

So happy I have a microcenter near me. I won’t buy PC parts from Amazon besides case fans. Getting damaged parts or wrong stuff in the box happens a bit to often these days with Amazon.

Looks like it was molested by 5 Rhinoceroses.

Someone needed some parts – lol.

I got the exact same case and was terrified of this happening so I did pick up at Best Buy.
