Maybe it is time to get a wireless mouse.

A little drastic but I guess you can’t teach an old cat new tricks. Make the next one a Maine coon

Pretty sure Jerry’s trying to set Tom up again.

Been using wireless now for about 6 months so that the cat can properly stretch out in front of me at all times…. I have not noticed any difference in play. My keyboard is plugged in but it’s heavy and braided and drops immediately from keyboard to hole in desk.

You could also replace the cable if you like that mouse. Most mice can be pulled apart by removing 1-4 screws from the bottom and then the cable is usually attached with a little plug.

Don’t put the cat to sleep, Just give it to an animal shelter.

  6. If you don’t have solar this what you can do cut the cable clean up the copper wires connect them and use electric duct tape they usually come black and here you go to fix it

Loving the joke here 😉 But in my opinion as a cat owner, wireless is the way to go… Yes cabled is always better for latency (networks and peripheral) but you can get some amazing wireless keyboards and mice that *feel* like they’re cabled and have ne t to no latency…

Either way, maybe your cat is craving copper? Lol 😉

The cat? Yes. It’s just a cat. You can find free ones everywhere.

Is it an older cat? Or a kitten. My younger cat used to do this. She mostly got over it when she got older, as long as cords weren’t dangling down.

It did take a lot of discipline as well though to get her to stop.

You can cut it and rewire it. Shouldn’t be a problem 😀

I think you might need to upgrade the cat. I heard cat 6 is pretty good.

Clip it, strip it, and soldier the wires together.

Just solder the cable. It is waste to put the entire thing to rest.

My cat did it twice to both my G430 headsets, im using a wireless one now.

Bought a quite expensive Balance cable for my audio equipment a few months back. had it for a day and saw my cat sniff it and then bit it. Know your pain. Love the little idiot but she is hell sometimes.

Yes, put the Cat to rest, that’s your only option here…

I went wireless due to my wife’s cockatiel

Edit: also had to put automotive heater hose over the microwave cord.

I’m not a fan of cats but putting the poor bastard down seems a bit dramatic no?
