Welp, looks like I need a solution to this and it not being replacing the whole case, cause I will be probably building a new one next year

tbf, it’ll most likely run cooler without the side panel

  2. DarnitDarn

Every time I open my case I think about this place and wonder if I’m next.

  3. Stone floor? Tempered glass side panel? Why don’t you learn it? One tiny part of the glass touched the floor which is enough to let it bust. It’s your own fault.

Now you have better access to give your PC a clean as it’s looking dusty

So you knew it could happen yet still done it.

How does this happen? Anyways to avoid it? Or it’s just luck?

Why it happened and how did that happen

    Is he Indian?

Finally! I’m so glad it “finally” happened!! How long did you have to leave it on tile before it smashed?

I have a hinged side panel, it’s much safer and faster to open close when I need to do anything including cleaning. Never have to worry about dropping it cause it’s basically a door. Kediers C710 case

“Finally”… as if it’s inevitable. Don’t get glass panels if you can’t handle glass. And don’t whine about it on reddit.

Those tiles may look pretty, but they are very unforgiving..

Just contact the support of ANT esports, same thing happened to me, got the replacement glass.

Edit, can’t seem to make it in the post itself :-

1.) I didn’t realize that if the glass panel touches the stone floor, it will pop.

2.) This is not a rant post but, for a suggestion to solve it temporarily.

3.) I always keep it on the desk, it was just today because my room was getting painted and that was the only empty area in the house.

4.) For everyone giving/suggesting ways to solve it, thank you very much 🙂

Sorry for your loss. Tempered glass looks great, but acrylic might be more durable.

  16. AlexStavru

You cant get a mesh to replace the glass. Horrible for dust but probably great for airflow.

Also, I’d recommend acrylic in the future. Doesn’t look as nice but it’s easily replaceable if it gets scratched since you can buy acrylic panels online and cut them to size.

This is why I always put
My pc on my bed when I’m cleaning it.

Richy rich and his marbled floors, just buy a new house, you’ll be fine.

  19. I’m IT specialist and I’ve never come across this. Can somebody explain? Is it because of tension when glass touches the floor? Did it slip off a hand?

  20. SnooKiwis7050

Ok I want someone to explain this. How is tiles and glass combination the problem?

  21. swordsaint91

Pc on tile with a gigabyte power supply? 😬

  22. I have a Corsair carbide 275r but mine came with acrylic side glass. Which scratched so badly and looked terrible close up. But I’m actually glad I don’t have glass seeing what gets posted here

  23. Can someone explain to me why tile floors caused his glass to break?
