Well that was one of my most anticipated games this year. I guess I am not surprised that it also lacks optimization. I will get it when it is fixed. Or never, we’ll see.

I’m more worried about stability.
My pc is still probably good enought to run it but an unstable game cannot be enjoyed by anyone.

Am I the only one who feels conflicted by being both mad and sympathetic towards the dev team. Mad cz they had 10 years and they still can’t fix issues as a gamer I find it frustrating. And sympathy cz I work in IT industry and know how these things go.

Seems like lots of people think that performance is just about optimization, and that optimization is just a matter of figuring out better code. This may only get you so far; sometimes there are actual limitations in mathematics and classical computing that cannot be overcome with clever approximations or lossless short-cutting.
