Is it considered low tier? What are some upgrades I should consider in the future? What’s the correct/recommended monitor I should I pick up?

Hello Scriptile, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

Video card is nice but overpowered for the processor and your RAM is weak. On the other hand my rig is the opposite. I have a decent video card, I think it’s an Nvidia 3080 but for the processor and ram I went overkill with a Ryzen 9 (16 core) and 128GB of ram.

Specs are pretty good and its new tech. GPU is underpowered for your current 4k monitor. You’d be better off playing at 1440p with higher refresh.

It depends on what games you play.

Esports? Then get a high refresh rate monitor like these:

    Viewsonic XG2431 (1080p 240hz) about $300 usd
    Acer Nitro XV272U W2bmiiprx (1440p 240hz) for about $300 usd

If you are more casual and like playing slower paced games where 60fps is alright then go for these:

    Gigabyte M27Q P (1440 170hz) for around $300 usd
    Acer Nitro XV272U KVbmiiprzx (1440 170hz) around $250 usd

As for PC upgrades, you could maybe pick up a more powerful gpu, something around 7800xt – 4070 – 6800 class gpu since a 4060ti may not be enough v-ram wise for more modern games. The 7600X is is a good cpu that could last you 3-4 years before needing to upgrade.

Note: Black Friday is coming up in a month so good luck finding those deals
