So I was messing around on the BO4 map “Remnant”, which is basically a zombies museum map, and I spotted this. It looks like it should be an alt mystery box, as it looks the right proportions. It’s also very fleshy, similar to the Chaos mystery box.
However, I do t recall seeing this in any maps. My one theory is that since Remnant was released near the end of BO4 (I believe it released in the same season as Alpha Omega), they had already made a box skin for the next map and just decided to throw it into Remnant because they wouldn’t get any use of it otherwise. This is backed up (I believe) by some tile art featuring the Chaos villain (gold mask guys) that I don’t recall being used on any existing maps.
Any ideas?
