Even after 10 years and on an old XBox 360, I was surprised at how much this intro slaps in regards to imagery and vibe.
If you’ve never played, it’s actually a bit into the start of the game, after you’ve gotten through the tutorial. You’re plunged right into the action and you’re not sure what to expect, so it’s a surprise when your character is unceremoniously smoked by the bad guys, at which point the intro kicks in.

One of the most under-represented titles when the subject of necessary Remakes and Remasters come up. I *need* to go visit that club in China at 4k/60fps with haptic feedback, it’s unbelievable this game is trapped on PS3/360 for consoles.
Just a simple upscaled Remaster or port would be enough for this game, everything else would still hold up fine. Mankind Divided is…*okay*, but the locations and general vibe is just MILES away from Human Revolution (and not in the good way).
The original games deserve to be available as well, man would a full Deus Ex Collection just absolutely print money…
