  1. Ever tried not setting everything on ultra? Sure helps me.

  2. FatFunkey

*glares at 3070 still doing fine at 1080*

  3. Sandwic_H

Games I play with my 3060 Ti usually use 4-7 Gb of VRAM. Where do you guys find games that are so demanding.

  4. Stargate_1

Meanwhile me with a 3070Ti totally fine playing games

  5. EducationalCamel1043

look if you can afford a decent gpu in 2023 you shouldn’t buy one with only 8gb of vram

anyone with $250 for a gpu should get 12gb or more.

  6. BigHairyFart

tfw people make memes about builds with 4x the amount a vram as my machine

Oh the same post every day. I have a 3070 at 1440p from 2021 and it does a great job and I play almost all new games. Ajusting some settings or waiting for some patches in unoptimized games always does the trick.

I wouldnt upgrade this gpu for a 4070/4070ti 12gb vram gpu, I feel is just not worth it. I’ll happily upgrade next gen when we will most likely get much more vram on the 5070 and new technologies like ptx or dlss 4.

Sure if you need to buy a new gpu now, get a 4070 or 4070ti. But don’t start panic for people who still own powerful gpus like 3070 or 3070ti cuz it’s not the case yet. In my opinion, the best upgrade path for those gpus are to wait for next gen.

Meanwhile Im over here playing Resident Evil Village in VR and Starfield on my 3070ti with 8GB of VRAM and the graphics look amazing. Yall keep hating though. lmao

  9. BryAlrighty

Imagine thinking this is actually true.. you can always just lower your settings. For big AAA games you can usually find optimization videos online that help maintain the visuals without much sacrifice while improving performance.

  10. Diuranos

Rest in peace! LOL No. Using nvidia 2060 6Gb still at fullhd can play everything, from mix low-medium to most game normal-high to ultra details surprise a lot of games.

  11. bezerko888

Only if you play 2023+ AAA greedy ass company games. The rest are fine. The new games are uninteresting at best and overpriced.

  12. TechieTravis

The current fixation on VRAM is like ‘bottlenecking’ last year. Modern games only need more than 8GB if you crank up texture detail all the way. 8GB is still fine for 1080p medium settings.

  13. C0mputerFriendly

Idk my 1060 3gb is holding on at 1080p and medium settings

  14. horneymilfinyourarea

After having 8gb for almost a year now, I can confirm that you don’t need to have everything at ultra (surprising, I know) to make a game look and run good.

  15. SuperCool_Saiyan

Idk doing fine with my 6600 at 1440p

  16. raulbersan27

Here I am with a GTX 1650 super with 4 GB and I’m ready to fight God or die trying

  17. EmpiresErased

How many of these dumbass threads are we getting?

  18. DiaKurosawa98

Mom said it’s my turn to repost this meme

  19. TheReturnOfAirSnape

Man until like a month ago I was running games fine on my 2gb GTX950. Got a whole new rig now with an RX 7600 8gb

  20. Cheesjesus

Why would “gamers” be happy with a more demanding less optimized games?? Wtf is this meme

  21. Tessai82

Vram problems? Maybe with 6gb card and 1440p resolution. But there is problem with performance with 6gb cards, so 1080p with 8gb is more then enough.

  22. thewildblue77

Ive managed to get my 4090 up to 23gb usage in Forza Motorsport…lol

Step Sons 6700xt is glugging 10gb all day long in Forza…8gb just doesn’t cut the mustard anymore…

  23. Needmedicallicence

Too many console ports and lazy ass devs. Vram isn’t the problem

  24. joblesscobra2

meanwhile everyone with “only” 8gb is playing just fine

  25. I feel like these threads are made by people who spent big on 20gb vram and have no games to utilize it on, rather than people ppl with 8 not being able to play any games.

  26. MrMak1080

I think their is a lot more wrong than 8gb of vram with PC ports nowadays…..as in me needing to sell both of my kidneys, and liver to play starfield or Forza motorsport at 36 fps
