2060 crew. havent felt the need to upgrade yet, does what i need it to

I’m not really surprised. Even with AMD putting up a good fight in terms of price/performance, nvidia still has the brand loyalty for new gamers and builders. Plus, the 3060 for ~$275 ($200 used) isnt *that* bad of a deal for high fps with lower-ish cost. CUDA is also something that AMD hasn’t been able to replicate which puts them at a disadvantage to people using AI or compute workloads.

Soon there will be no AMD gamers due to Anti-Lag+ causing accounts to be banned on Steam

Wait, I thought everyone here has 4090 /s

Im sorry for contributing to the percentage, but from what i heard from the community is that there is no such thing as a bad gpu. It is just badly priced / availability issue for certain countries.

3060ti gang!
Doomnezeu
I’m still on a 1070 and play pretty much everything I want, although in 1080p and I have to downgrade settings in newer games. Only games that might make me buy a gpu is STALKER 2 and Space Marine 2, I’d like to experience those at Ultra or High settings.

Doesn’t rx 6700 xt perform similarly for lower price? I’m new to this

Oh I’m one of those 3060 laptop users lol

NVD knows the 60 series is where they could squeeze dollars and milk the consumers. Hence the 8GB artificial scarcity for 4060.

It’s a great card. If I was building another 1080p rig, I’d get a 3060. 12GB of VRAM is a big deal.

why is the 3060 and the 3060ti so far apart?

Most of that comes from prebuilds probably ngl.
Lot of prebuilds around 1K has 3060’s from what i seen.

meanwhile I’m chilling with integrated vega 6 kek
Garaius
Perfectly reasonable, I suppose. It’s gotten a bit cheaper in the past few months and it’s good enough to be relevant for a few more years, especially for 1080p gaming, imo.

Wait I thought AMD cheap cards would dominate🙄🙄🙄 shutup YouTubers.
SpiloFinato
Honestly a bit surprised that amd is still so far behind.
I wasn’t expecting them to be at the top, but the rx 580 being their most popular card at 0.92% feels weird, first 6000 series card is at 0.62%
Everyone is thrashing on Nvidia but everyone is buying from them nevertheless

Is this sub just an Nvidia circlejerk now 😭

1060 on third Place 💪🏼

I have one in my first built that my wife uses for work now, it was quite the capable card.
I felt that I had cheaped out almost immediately after I had built it though, since I do renders professionally for our company.
Luckily at around the same time, her desktop had started a rapid decay into obsolescence. So she agreed to take mine and let me build my new rig.
I had buyers remorse almost immediately again when I decided to get the 4080 instead of the 4090.

The metric they use for total hard drive space is silly. The options just top off at >1TB… seems outdated.

IIRC aren’t these surveys influenced quite a bit from multiple users using similar/the same pc in Internet cafes so you have a whole bunch of users using the exact same specs

The 3060 is such a good deal as well. 12 Gigs of vram just to piss amd off
Level_Somewhere_6229
Surprised the 3070 isn’t on top. It’s a good entry level 4K card.

Has the 40 series gained any relevancy?
