DLC ending spoilers – The power scaling is weird

Easily the most frustrating part of the dlc, I don’t care if it’s taken over by a rogue AI there is no reason for that thing to be invulnerable to damage and be able to one shot you, it was just the devs that wanted a forced survival horror segment

Isn’t it a militech drone, maybe they just felt the need to flex and gave it insane armor. Maybe you could damage it but it would pin you down and kill you before you could kill it. After all it is being piloted by an AI from beyond the Blackwell that just wants to kill and V has no active cyber ware.

Man for that part, cdpr turned an action game to a horror survival game

I understand they wanted to do alien isolation, but i do wish there was a bossfight (chimera moment).

It was dissapointing that all the sections it was searching for you, you could just sit in a corner or around a counter, the last one i just got behind that server thing and waited.

Wouldve been nice to be able to use, yknow, one of the core mechanics, distract enemies and other quickhacks.

It’s not about the power scaling but *who* is attacking you. The 50 year old maintenance bot is being piloted by a bunch of stupidly OP rogue AIs. Ones powerful enough to put a halt to V’s cyberware. V is only realistically the powerhouse that they are by the Smasher fight *because* of that cyberware so it’s not surprise really that she isn’t at her peak when it is disabled.

The bots leg/arm actuators are also clearly more powerful than anything moving Smasher around so it’s natural for it to be a ‘stronger’ machine than Smasher.

I will agree though that it being utterly invincible is a touch ridiculous. But on the other hand would the Cynosure dungeon be such a scare-fest or have that atmosphere if it could be stopped? Maybe it’s forced invulnerability was necessary for the feeling.

Well if the bunker can selectively disable cyberware like that best thing to do is find out how it works and stay there, keep johnny disabled until someone can come up with proper treatment.

  7. Is that the one from earlier in PL? Because I didn’t have a hard time with it. Not like I did with the invisible ninja, that kept healing.

  8. Chain-Bastard

V is nerfed there, cannot use cyberware

  9. Desperate-Music-9242

I think its just the cyberware really, if you dont have cyberware in this setting your fucked

  10. Soca1ian

When the only way to kill it is in a cutscene, then I knew it was immortal in game play.

  11. nowaijosr

A blackwall AI infested Robot which is the equivalent of a Cthulu horror.

  12. That part was like “Cyberpunk Isolation”. Creepy mech
