Here’s a short video of me mowing down MaxTac on Very Hard with just a Chrome Compressor, no real operating system. The key to this build is using the iconic Firecracker mod from Phantom Liberty along with the Pyromania perk and its sub-perks. Most guns I’ve tried with Firecracker don’t actually proc Pyromania for some reason, but the MA70 LMG does and that means you can get 100% mitigation chance and infinite grenades from just firing your gun. Walking around blowing everything up with grenades and explosive rounds while being mostly unkillable feels very satisfying, although this isn’t on the same level as something like Katana + Sandevistan. You could use the bones of this build with a real OS like a Sandi or Cyberdeck and it would probably be even stronger but that’s really due to those OS being godlike rather than having any synergy with explosive LMG.
The biggest problem with this build is LMG’s low max ammo. It doesn’t get in the way of completing missions or anything, but you have to constantly open the menu to craft ammo or you’ll run out, and against MaxTac you’ll run out after a few minutes and then you’ll have to hide to craft more.

That particular lmg shoots explosive rounds with or without firecracker that’s why is proccing pyromania.
Firecracker adds damage/low burn chance/and AOE still an excellent all rounder mod, but that’s all it does

Cool build, just kinda sad it needs the nade spam to makeup for it’s less than stellar dps. Also if I am understanding your build right, the nades are setting up your crucial perks. Meaning you could be using any gun in this vid and be doing fine.

I think the kicker is that LMGs eat more lead than the entire city of Rome circa 200 BC to make this build sustainable.

The MA70 is honestly just an HMG. Slap firecracker on that bad boy and you get an HMG+

Although my pre 2.0 netrunner was basically already unstoppable with a smart shotgun.
I think it was the Kang Thao L-69 Zhuo.
And enemies would just drop dead while I wasn’t even really aiming.
Made the endgame a total blast on Very Hard.
