I obstinately choose to drive in first person always. In part because I feel that’s the way they wanted players to experience the game, but also for the challenge.
Kinda annoyed me that there’s a few missions that automatically switch you to first person. Also some cars have very bad dashes and you can’t see shit over them. This was a big problem in one of the first missions of Phantom Liberty where you had this huge dash and were driving down hill through not clearly marked roadways.
Also makes me think that while crystal dome is a neat idea, I don’t think it makes logical sense in the universe. Every car apparently already has cameras that anybody can jack into in this universe. Theoretically I should be able to jack into my car and through cameras and other censors “see through” my vehicle. See through my solid “windshield” as well as see through the dashboard.
Crystal dome seems like an extravagant (and redundant) tech only for luxury cars, but not so much for military vehicles.
