I know the graphics card isn’t the best but for the time being it’ll do. Plan on upgrading ram and graphics card later down the road. Whats your guys’ thoughts?

You got ripped off lol. Just because it has RGB doesn’t mean it’s good.

You should have made this post before buying 🙁 You did make a very happy person on the other side of the transaction though if that makes you feel any better.

At least it has a b450 and it’s not a 2nd gen intel mobo. You have a decent upgrade path cpu wise, but you unfortunately overpaid on this one.

  4. Nope, it’s worth like half of what you paid for it.

Bros ready to run Minecraft at 1200×600 on low

That’s a typical prebuild scam, these shops just love to put outdated and overpriced hardware into shiny new cases with a lot of RGB, bastards have no shame to be honest.

  7. Not for $480, I’m afraid, but all is not lost here.

The motherboard will accept a Ryzen 5000 (flash BIOS) and you can fit a 5600. That’ll instantly boost nearly everything. Then you can drop in a modern GPU and rescue the build.

At that point, though, you’ve spent around $900 for a $500-600 build.

Oof a console would’ve been a better deal since it’s the same price tbh

Not at all… that is ancient hardware

Overpaid by at least $300.00 That CPU came out in 2017 and the GPU came out in 2014. If you want to upgrade you will be spending more than you paid replacing the motherboard, cpu and GPU.

Otherwise spec wise it is fine for minecraft and legacy skyrim.

It’s at least easily upgradeable, but you definitely overpaid. That’s a very low end CPU these days, and the graphics card is nearly 10 years old now, and it wasn’t the fastest available when it was new either.

  12. Why do people STILL buy first, THEN ask if it’s a good deal later? It never seizes to amaze me.

You could have built a better one for cheaper

  14. Is it me or does that gpu feel over priced for this amount of money.

I think the seller made off really good

  16. SnuffleWumpkins

Oh no. I’m so sorry you got scammed like this.

Did you at any point consider not buying it before asking for advice?

You didn’t do great bud, but things happen. Learn, move on, and at least you have a base to start a good build off of 🤷🏼‍♂️

Just ask first and buy later if you have no experience with PC building or buying… it will literally most likely save you tons of money, just don’t be stubborn.
