saw Sym.gg updated the stats so i was sciencing cause i always give recs to my friends i play with. wrote up some notes behind each gun being viable for them and figured I’d share! lemme know what yall think.
S6 Long Range is a 7-gun meta..
*RAPP H (not in chart): the best TTK but it’s an LMG & very slow/clunky w/ a slow-ass reload (major liability).. could be viable running with the Bas-P since it’s got a long first damage range
*M13B (w/ echelon barrel & range/bv muzzle): still very good but it’s dropoff at range is far more significant than it used to be.. and it’s not longer got the best rifle TTK out to ~35m (only has the best for a 6M range around 40M)
*Kastov 762 (w/ kas-10 barrel): very similar stats-wise to the M13B but a less significant drop at range & comes with a very good headshot multiplier
*TAQ-V: going to lose to to most rifles in first 50M but will shine beyond.. easy recoil pattern (mostly visual)
*RPK: easy to use, huge base clip (extra attachment available), consistent damage on all body parts, not the best TTK but you’re likely to hit high pct of your shots
*HCR: weird gun, 60-rd base clip (extra attachment available), statistically best option at long range but never feels like it really hits hard & weird feels like it always misses shots.. truly an enigma
*TR-76 Geist (w/ bruen bridle heavy barrel & range/bv muzzle): my pick for this season.. nothing beats it to ~35M and only area it loses to anything until ~68M is the M13 from ~36M to ~44M.. easy recoil, great headshot multiplier.. this gun will probably be the first to get nerfed
S6 SMGs are a 4-gun meta..
*Lachmann Sub: goated especially with it’s headshot multiplier but it has an AWFUL dropoff around 8 meters
*Iso 9mm: a slightly worse version of the lachmann sub.. if you’re min/max’ing, no reason to use but still very good
*Iso 45: 2nd best close range ttk (by a hair) and more consistent TTK after first dropoff.. no plummet like lachmann
*Bas-P: my pick for this season.. first range TTK as good as both Iso’s but 2x the range (~10m vs ~20m).. weak-to-no headshot multiplier but consistent damage across all body parts

TR deletes anything under 40M
Personally loving the Geist, super easy to control and absolutely melts. However i also love the FR Avancer and it actually beats out the Geist up to 20ish or so meters in TTK.
Im running Geist and Bas-P or Iso 9mm and all 3 feel solid.
I’m a M13 guy but aren’t the tempus or advancer better options now?
re: Avancer comments — in my experience, that gun has some rough recoil when you get to range. definitely a great option for SS but I’m more looking at ranged AR.
I run an Fr advancer and 556 Icarus
I love my trusty Kastov. Easy recoil with good damage at any range. Feels like every other one of the long range guns has at least one thing holding it back
