My pc looks like it’s been abandoned for years, I literally cleaned it two weeks ago. What should I do?

Clean/replace your house filter, upgrade the filters on your PC, and possibly get a filter for any vents in your room.

  2. ZeroSum12

Use air filters and don’t place the PC chassis on the floor.

  3. Clean it more often. Simple. Once a week should be fine. Nice gpu, love the arc a770 limited edition.

Just plug up all the holes in your pc then no dust will be able to get inside /s

  5. Clean up your place more/better. Less dust in the environment around the PC mean less dust in the PC.

Look up cleaning advice for dust allergies.

Guess you need to clean your house more often?

  7. Could be your fan setup. I think if you have negative pressure it causes more dust.

  8. Clean your fuckin house if that’s only 2 weeks of dust

Biggest change you can commit to is installing a fine mesh dust filter. Luckily my case came with those isntalled, one on the bottom and one in the front, and my dust buildup is minimal.

Either you are lying about cleaning it two weeks ago or you live in an active quarry.

Clean your house, get an air purifier/filter and grab some DemciFlex dust filters for the case.

How is the 770 in real life performance?

  12. Me too, but my GPU becomes covered with dust in 1-1.5 months

  13. Dust is heavier than air and settles on the floor, where your fans happily suck it up. Put your PC on your desk.

Bro is using a Intel arc 😐😐🫤😐

Bro what? Do you have negative pressure in your case or literally no dust filter or something?

I’ve literally not cleaned my pc for over half a year and it isn’t even close to this state. Do you live somewhere particularly dusty?

  16. GTCitizen

When you hate dust, you clean it. This dust didn’t spawned there just like that.

If you put it directly in the carpet it will help attract more dust, more quickly.

It would take my 4000d like 3 years to get this dusty. Get a printer stand for your pc. Keep it off the carpet a foot or two! Helps so so much. And allows for better wire hiding. Works even better than keeping your pc on your desk. You can get stands the same size as your case i have one thats a little small the feet are like half on but its stable and fine

Get a silencio 352 case it has dust filters on all intakes and outtakes

  20. If you’re getting that much dust in 2 weeks then you really, really need to clean your house.

I live in the tropics and all houses have screen windows and doors, making it so a lot of air enters the house, but that also includes dust, even if it’s not as much as without them. Dust builds up incredibly quick.

  22. positive air pressure through dust filter….

  23. hail_goku

Get a case with filter? Clean your house/flat/room? Get rid of your rugs?

  24. SurealGod

Does your case have any dust filters? That will at least minimize the dust going into your case. Of course you still need to clean the dust filters every now and then.

Do you have more exhaust than intake fans

  26. This happened to me when they were making a new building next to my house. Months of pain.

I somehow mitigated it by covering the computer when I was not using it.

Beautiful card though! How well does it handle games now after all the driver updates? Seems to be a really good investment for long term.

The trick is to have a tinted glass panel and no lights to hide it. Youre welcome

Same brother same, If I open the window for more than 10 minutes is like Mad Max in here.

I’m thinking of buying a Levoit Core 300 Air Purifier, maybe it will help a little.

  30. jet_black_ninja

no filter on intake fans ? or touch negative pressure.

  31. RedMdsRSupCucks

isn’t a high precentage of dust just skin cells ?

    guess wash more often xD

when i read the title i thought im on cs2 reddit

Bro my PC doesn’t get dirty even during renovations and literally knocking a wall down without dust protection

  34. bickman14

    Are you reformating you house?
Because that’s usually how much dust I have over everything when there any reform going on here as the walls on my country are made of cardboard and wood like on the US, they are actually brick wall with ciment and stuff.

  35. Your living apartment is too dusty either your pet is messy. I clean my PC every two days at least outside part of the case. There are good cloth which magnetize the dust

  36. AlanenFINLAND

Sand blasting works well for me, you should try it out.

  37. Kitchen_Tea2268

Man, if this amount of dust settles in your machine in just two weeks😨 I can’t image what the quality of air you are breathing. Horrible. Refresh air often, vacuum the floor and eliminate the source of contamination (have no other words). Horror

  38. thuynj19

Do you have enough positive pressure? Also where is your exhaust fan?

  39. mikemac1997

Clean your room more. If that doesn’t work, clean your house. If that doesn’t work, then intake filters.

That’s more than a years buildup for my PC
