Ubisoft is worse. They have a slider that won’t show the selected value until you let go off the slider. It also only increments in like 0.25 MB/s steps 🙃

In file explorer go to %userprofile%AppDataLocalElectronic ArtsEA Desktop
right click on the file that starts with “user_” and it will have a long number after
there is an option “user.throttle.bandwidthkbps=” just set it to whatever you want, just make sure you convert your Mbps to Kbps
save and restart ea launcher and your custom bandwidth limit is set!

As if Steam doesn’t make you count it out byte by byte. I’ve never felt so foolish having to come to terms with the fact I don’t know how to convert between bps, mbps, kbps, etc.

Be thankful there is one. Xbox doesn’t have a limiter lol.

EAs Launchers were always garbage, starting with origin which was garbage at best, now EA play is maybe not as garbage as Origin, but not in any way good.
Steam is the only Launcher (marketplace…etc) that is constantly good.
Not to start with the Ubisoft Launcher, that asks me every start for admin rights four times.
