When the DLC first came out, I told myself I’d just do the DLC and move onto other games… But then I just kept playing the base game, putting the DLC off as much as I could, just so I had more of the game to play.
Now only the DLC is left and I dont want it to end š

My problem is that thereās so much potential to do shit, but a lot of it seems empty. Being able to go into the ground floor of most buildings (or the ground floor is open air), is a bit misleading. Or when in the badlands you can actually enter most gas stations or small buildings, same with the residential areas with actual houses.
Thereās plenty of main quests and side quests, but not a lot of āworldā actually happening.
I mean shit, thereās still that gigantic area on the lower left side of the map that has almost 0 purpose.

I think the āairportā end of the dlc was my favorite, moving through the chaos and blasting anything that moved plus the music when escorting >!songbird!< was top notch.

My only regret is I wish more of the map changed..Dogtown is lovely and dense but it’s such a small sequestered area. I would have loved to see new areas around the map.
Hopefully modders can be saviors but I just don’t bet on free labor.

If anyone unaware, **the reason this will not recieve more DLC is they have moved to a new engine**, I believe for every project in the studio going forward now, and that had to be a major business decision knowing the implications would mean abandoning CP2077 until a new game is built ground up.
Other than patches and maybe some tiny additions like new clothing/weapons, this is it until a sequel.
**Edit:** I doubt it unless they think it could help to iron out bugs, but they could always borrow from this and release a sort of standalone game expansion in the new engine in the interim before a full blown ‘sequel’.
