I think it gives me the most opportunities to roleplay some who struggles to leave it’s old path behind, even questioning everything I ever believed in, and make it a gradual change.
Now, gameplay wise it doesn’t make much difference, but I like to give my V something from myself, in unspoken dialogue, by simply moving my head away in some cutscenes, those small things.
I think Corpo gives me exactly what I want, there is still a bit of an icy bitch in my V, but also the belonging to a higher class and sense of style which resembles more Avante than some Scavs.
And as I exclusively play a Netrunner, I usually don’t get dirty, so I’m also a bit disgusted by some hobo edgerunners and lowbobs.
Well, blah di bla, I think Corpo gives me the best starting point for my role, always š

Nomad for a first playthrough as it feels like a proper “blank slate” for a first playthrough.
Never played street kid, but I imagine they would be good for a max “cool” and body character

I feel like roleplay wise I can get behind corpo and nomad. Corpo because losing everything and playing the down with the corporation story is great and makes sense. I like nomad because as a first time player I went nomad and it was like me and V were experiencing night city and learning the ins and outs for the first time.

On my first playthrough I went with Nomad, because like me Nomad was an outsider, who didn’t knew Night City. Now I have more than 370 hours played, so in patch 2.0 / Phantom Liberty I’m playing as Street Kid, because I feel very knowledgeable about the city. And the corpo dialogue lines are too ruthless for what I wanted.

Male nomad, its how i would live. I enjoy cyberpunk, but the Madmax life is happy me living my post apocalypse self.
Hell the only thing i dont like about the nomads is they are too static, makes them vulnerable setting up camp for extended periods in one location.

I’m a massive Red Dead fan so I love the whole vibe of the nomads. The Aldecaldo camp reminds me of the Van Der Linde Gang. It was also very fitting on my first playthrough because I didn’t know the city yet and neither did V.

I was raised barely ever going into cities, and if I did they were smaller ones. Fits that both me and my V have an outside perspective.

Nomad. I like the “outsider being inside” situations. V, always moving from place to place, is now in a place that’s always moving, but never actually going anywhere. Letting V propose a different perspective to help contrast the “out for myself” mindset that thrives in Night City. Plus, makes her not understanding of things in the big city make sense

Iāve played corpo and street kid, for my V street kid seems more like cannon. Most want to be corpo because of the coolness factor.
Nomad may have more impact towards the end.

I’m thinking on becoming Nomad on my first playthrough, like someone who’s been living on the outskirts trying to fit in with the urban hell that is Night City. Tbh I haven’t played the game yet, but that’s my plan for when I get it on Christmas, hopefully.
