Cant wait to finally play it after all the preorderers had awful experience

I picked it back up after playing a bit after launch. The game is in a much better state and I do recommend giving it a shot.

This is what I want to remind everyone who’s comparing SF with CP 2.0 right now

Probably nothing compared to the INSANE hype before the launch. They had gaming chairs, GPUs, so much products

I was pretty disappointed how broken it originally released like what the fuck, at least skyrim didn’t require enormous amount of patches just for me to enjoy I mean I still love oblivion to this day
ddubyeah
In other words, it cost only two million of the copies sold.

Cyberpunk is legit an amazing game now. Kudos to CDPR for taking the time to get it right.
Anyone who said “I’m going to wait until they fix it before i play it”…the time is now.

They can write if off the next Cyberpunk game’s marketing campaign. There’s no way they would gain more for spending those additional 120mln for marketing then than this. Well done. That’s literally a win-win for both us gamers and them devs.

I just started playing it for the first time a couple of days ago, in parallel with Starfield. CP is just… ***SO*** much better. If not necessarily for the storyline, but mainly the graphics, **the optimizations** (ironically), character design, and first person feeling.

The modern games industry is like ordering a sandwich, getting 2 slices of bread and being told the fillings will be out in a few years. People are so starved for food that they have gaslit themselves into thinking this is a good system.

I actually love the game now. Post 2.0 is what I hoped for since release. It’s nice playing this again. It feels like a new game.

When it released, Cyberpunk immediately became one of my most favorite games of all time. While it did have its quirks and issues, the story and characters stood out to me compared to any other game I’ve ever played.
$120M is no small amount but I believe it’s money well spent for securing the future of the franchise. Edgerunners expanded on the audience scope and now that there’s a live action Cyberpunk movie/show in the works, Cyberpunk 2077 is only set to sell more and more copies as time goes on. I think CDPR deserves praise for their continuous work on a project that many deemed a “failure.”

Well done, it’s now officially a polished turd.

I bought Cyberpunk after 2.0 and DLC. I regret nothing. I had best start with this game, it’s really good and I waited 3 years to play it like it should be – without bugs, glitches and on PC with specs that can run it in ultra settings. Bought it on GOG, so CDPR have my full money for it. I’m glad that Cyberpunk is now so great game despite very hard beginning.

I hope it turns things around for them. Because even with the release their stock has plummeted even with 2.0 and Phantom Liberty.

It’s 16% of what the game made withing a week.
Saving Cyberpunk was a question of life for CDPR studio… They didn’t do it because they are samaritan, they did it because the studio been remade new after TW3 success and shareholder have plans.
Killing CDPR by not fixing Cyberpunk would have made them lost way more money than fixing it.
They even did two birds one stone, cause now people praise them like they are the good guys, specialy compared by the fraud that is Starfield.
Everyone still forget that even now in 2.0 with all the fix, Cyberpunk 2077 is still a subpar RPG, with very dirigist and intrusive Main quest, almost no freedom has an immersive sim, no 3rd person camera, and no proper background to Roleplay.

I’m considering buying the expansion, can anyone tell me if they actually fixed the lifeless city? Are the npcs still plastic set dressing on a pretty canvas?

The game literally broke me 🤣
Finished it a few times, but I have not and will not ever pre-order because of CP. The new update is pure 🔥

Worth it

Is the player shadow in the game still absolutely borked?

Funny that’s the cost they say when you punch the emp with Panam to bring down the flying vehicle.

Not enough to fix their reputation they are forever gonna be stained by launching at that state.
No amount of money can fix that.

I played it on my original Xbox One when it released. It was buggy, looked terrible, and there was little to no NPC and vehicle traffic. But I still enjoyed it and beat the game.
I got a gaming PC like 6-7 months ago and replayed it, and I was blown away at how much better it looked and played. I will definitely be doing another play through on 2.0 eventually.
