Worth it?

It would be fine for web browsing or maybe some emulated games, but not too much else.

  2. dont-tell-my-mother1

If you plan to upgrade it in the future, no, the case and power supply of that type of assembly will limit you a lot.

  3. Reasonabledwarf

This is only really practical if you *absolutely* need a disc drive, a slim form factor desktop, and specifically don’t want a laptop for some reason. Pentium chips are low-end laptop parts.

  4. EducationalCamel1043

    nope.

wait for black friday cyber monday. similar deals with better hardware.

1st you determine your budget. 2nd you try to find the best specs available within the budget but always go +-10% depending on the available deals. Is your budget 200? Did you compare all the available deals in that range +10%?

    pentium silver. NO. Sluggish performance.

  7. Nitazene-King-002

No. No gpu, and it likely can’t power one.
    CPU is shit.

  8. It’s HP. The answer is always no, unless it’s at least 50% off. Then maybe

Nvm, it’s a pentium, it’s probably not even worth its weight in wood

No, sorry but no. That system will only do minimum webstuff and YouTube. Any game will just make it cry. Minimum system should include a 4 core cpu with dual channel ram and dedicated gpu of some kind. Google those terms and spend a week or so researching. You will be spending a lot of time with it in the future so take some time now to avoid a bad experience. 😉

8GB ram, pentium CPU, no GPU nor would you ever be able to add one. This is a base level office PC and nothing more. Save your money.

Good for basic internet surfing, solitaire, word processor, Facebook, looking up car parts, etc. It can’t handle lots of stuff all at once but it’s ok at one or two things at a time.

  12. Sarcastic_Eggplant

Avoid low spec HPs and Dells at all costs. They’re cheap for a reason.

  13. xssn709ro

For web browsing? Yes. Anything else, no.

  14. alaingames

No, probably sold at 50 in oficial website:v

  15. Tiberzon

ye, looks like a nice worhstation/family PC. obvi i wouldnt use this for modern gaming. but def a nice little machine for the cost

  16. TigerCarts2

Any PC could be worth it for the price depends on what you’re looking to use it for gaming definitely no word processing of course just all depends on how you look at it

  17. Stevo115

That computer will lag on 60 fps youtube videos. Stay the fuck away.

  18. WreckingtonBrown

    It’s almost Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

  19. PlasticPancake7771

NO! But stuff like that on amazon. Way cheaper for better stuff.

  20. Maxthebax57

    * Pentium

These are for the average person. You can out more RAM into it and a lower end GPU that requires 70w or less, but overall it bad.

  21. LividFocus5793

Feels good to look at this and have a 200$ phone with twice the speed, like

  22. TurdFerguson614

Wtf sku is Pentium silver? And can it accept a pcie 3 minimum discrete GPU?

  23. therealdieseld

That’s an internet browsing PC. Doing anything more than that, you won’t be happy with your purchase.
