Nice…very nice. Im 40 to and decided to build my first high-end pc. Went with 7900xtx thou as 2000€ for GPU was a little bit too steep 😅

It’s always a 4090 lol. I think people buying them need validation the most.

Looks great but needs fans.

I would’ve gone for a 7800x3d personally

I’m 64 and have built more systems than I can count. Once you get past 55, gaming performance will probably begin to matter less and less(I know you’re saying, no, that will never happen to me but it will). After I hit 65 in a few months, I’m not even sure I will still have Steam on my computer. I play some small strategy games and a few sims like Kerbal Space once in a while, but that’s about it.

Hell yeah! What types of games are you planning to play on this bad boy?

Everything looks awesome, I truly hate MSI coolers though. I’ve had 2 death rattle on me both within a year. I have a kraken now I’ve been very happy with. Overall awesome looking build, probably just need more storage drives.

I’ve seen here videos of 4090 hitting 1.5 kW stressed so wondering if 1000W psu is sufficient

Lol, a Puter. I’m gonna use that.

Last Gen i7 with a 4090? What’s your reasoning for that?

Stacking boxes on top of each other is not how you build a computer so to answer your question I’d say you made out pretty poorly.
Funny_stuff554
Nice set up but why do you have 2 boxes of ram? Are you putting in 64Gb ram? If I was you I would keep it to 32 GB and use that money to get a Samsung 990 pro ssd instead of 980 pro. Or a core i913900k instead of a i713700.

Lack of Noctua beige is saddening.
Awesome! Post photos when you’re finished.
