Hello, I Have had a computer made by NZXT for about a year now, and have loved it. However, when messing with my settings because Elden Ring was running choppy, I noticed I was only getting 2,400mhz from my duel channel when I have a 4,000.
I read that NZXT doesn’t have XMP auto set up, so I went into bios and messed with that and even with it enabled (it already was so I switched to to profile 1) I am still getting 2400. I even tried lowering it to 3,500 to see what would happen, and it stayed at 2,400.
Not to sure what to do about this…
I’ll post my specs, and if anyone needs images I can get them to you asap.
Thank you.

Sorry if this is not the right place for this kind of post. I saw other people with similar issues post to this subreddit.
You need to boot into bios (spam f2 and delete buttons on start up) then there might be an xmp button or drop down you just need to enable it/ or choose 4000mhz
The 11700k should be able to do 4000 even in gear 1.
But you gotta manually set it to gear 1 in BIOS, manually set voltages and timings if your board is a bit finicky (NZXT is from what I’ve heard).
You’re very likely to have to set memory controller voltages yourself too
