My ability to see faces in object’s says no.
nzricco
No, I wouldn’t, it doesn’t look like it complies with AS/NZS 3000:2018.
Gh0sts1ght
I had a few of those that were fine check the fuse and you are good.
Salt_Path4768
I need that with eu plug.
External_Try_7923
Says conforms and certified…blah blah blah, but no UL logo for instance. Does have that ETL logo. I’m leaning towards no.
Alechilles
I wouldn’t put your PC or other expensive electronics through it, but random little things are fine. Just don’t expect it to protect from a power surge.
BlarghBlech
Sure why not. As long as you don’t plug heaters in it and stay within allowed 1.5 kW load.
vwragtop
Probably pretty crappy but I would use it for a phone charger or such, nothing that pulls too much amperage.
abrasivebuttplug
I’d trust it for minor things.
MarceloWallace
I’m electrician it’s a strip and 1500 watts just don’t over load it and you are fine. The usb is really slow I wouldn’t use it but the thing look fine to me.
trust me contractors install cheaper receptacles on your wall some cost like $1. I prefer the one with power surge and fuse.
Ailaion
I actually have one of these. We may have even bought the same model desk. I use mine for things like my phone and laptop chargers. It does fine. I don’t trust plugging my tower into it just because I don’t believe it has surge protection, but so far it’s been perfectly fine.
vGrillby
As long as you understand that it is not a surge protector it should be fine.
It’s essentially just a outlet extension. Also depends on what you put on it, I wouldn’t throw a microwave, fridge, n AC but a pc and monitor would be okay.
Nitazene-King-002
Get a real surge protector at minimum, a good one
pxldsilz
The ratings look decent, and it looks sturdier than any power strip in my house. I’d trust it.
Just don’t plug in twelve space heaters and a microwave.
ADamnSavage
Depends on whats plugged into it.
Unusual-Lion-282
It’s a PDU, fine to plug a few things into but it’s not a surge protector. If you’re worried about plugging fancy things into it maybe opt for something else.
sadanorakman
No, the sockets look like they are in shock!
basim97
I’d trust it with my life.
blur410
That looks like something I would put in my dj rig in the early 90s.
msanangelo
I’d trust it more than the cheap plastic ones.
rainbowclownpenis69
I bought a workbench desk that has something almost identical to this. Mine is 1875W. I don’t plug my PC or monitors into this, but my TV and printer are currently plugged in to, as well as a plug connected to a wireless charger on the desk. I have not had any issues. I have not used the USBs, though. Not even sure if I ever will.
stupefyme
with my life
cowboycolts
I have a desk with one almost identical to this just the usb ports are rotated 90 degrees compared to yours, also no dedicated on or off switch, had it for a year and it’s been fine, though I have it plugged into an actual surge protector, so results may vary
iPoosk
I would be way more worried about that hippy deworming “medication” than that power strip
rdevi2
I use power strip used for server racks.
Bloopyhead
Does it go embedded into the desk? My biggest worry would be spilling liquid, like coffee, into it.
Fun-Contract-2486
Yup.. looks good
tru3robin
I think you can install it under the desk for cable management
alaingames
Seems like a heavy duty power strip :v would trust more than a normal one
