Hey,
I have a quick question since I need a bigger table that isn’t 80cm deep anymore because I like my monitor about 40-45 cm close to my face and all the space is just wasted and it looks ugly.
I found the IKEA Ekbacken and wanted to ask if any of you have it as their desk or if you could recommend another good desk top.
I want it to be around 185cm wide and 60cm deep, so the Ekbacken would fit pretty good.
Just curious because normally it is not meant to be used as a desk top. I’m not sure if it is going to have a weird feel to it, just a bit more slippery than a normal desk top would be.
( I know my cable management sucks but I move to another place in a few days and than I’m going to structure everything)

I am currently using the Saljan which is almost exactly the same as the Eckbacken and I think it’s great. The only difference is that the saljan is thicker and cheaper here in the US where I am. Based on a lot of reddit searching I did before buying that a lot of people are very happy with either option!
