Shouldn’t Linux users be largely aloof to Microsoft being that they don’t use their operating system? It has no bearing on what they do.

Hate is a strong word here. I hate Microsoft about as much as I hate Apple. I’m leaving Microsoft’s services and OS behind, but can only be fair to those who wish to do the same.
Now Meta on the other hand..
