Hello reddit. I am asking for help with undervolting my cpu. I have little to no experience with any type of overclocking / undervolting so bear with me. Why do I want to undervolt? Correct me if I am wrong but as I understand maximize my cpu and increase the longevity by lowering the temps and lowering the default voltage. I work with music production software and gaming for long periods of time.I have spent the majority of the day before this post watching youtube videos on undervolting. It seemed like each video was different in methodology so it was hard to get a sense of which way to do this. I tried the techniques used in the videos but based on the scores I was getting in cinebench / hwmonitor metrics there was really not much change from stock. I must be doing something wrong. This is why I am here.

My specs:

Motherboard: MSI MAG x570S Tomahawk max wifi (ms-7d54)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900x

GPU: AMD Rx 6750XT

My results:

stock 17259

70.4c

145.75w

3659w – 4806w

(Used this for about 30 mins while doing some gaming however PC crashed.)

Learn about PBO and undervolt via Curve Optimizer.

This is no good.. You undervolted and got higher temps ? Wow. You dont let your CPU boost to possible 5000Mhz ? This is not the way !
