Hello all, I have a 13900K paired with a asus Rog maximus hero Z790 with bios version 1303.

My problem is that my CPU is getting to hot with idle temps around 45 and random spiking up to 60 when i do something as simple as open a google chrome tab.

I was thinking that i had a defective CPU cooler ( Corsair H150i lcd) So i went to my local microcenter and purchased another Corsair H150i Elite LCD and it made no difference.

I have looked at multiple videos of tutorials of folks undervolting their 13900K in the bios setting, but my bios setting always looks different from theres and i dont know what to hit specifically. I also tried using Intels XTU software but never really made much progress.

I would much rather have a set undervolt setting in the bios

After replacing the CPU cooler i really dont know if there is something wrong with my CPU or not.

Even gaming temps for games such and counterstrike 2 and valorant get up in the mid 80s and i dont know if that it normal or not.

and on a game like red dead redemption when i ride my horse into town the CPU temp will get up to 100c and the game will crash.

i am including photos of my bios settings to give some insights to some experts on this subreddit.

also one last thing the thermal compound i am using is Prolima PK-3
