There is still some pretty bad things in the game that need to be fixed before we can crown the best FPS of all time again.

The weapon pickup thing is almost the perfect epiphany of an example of "don't remove the old game yet" because… please. What are we doing here. This update feels like an update for the beta, not a full release if god forbid thats what its supposed to be

They really shouldn't have removed the achievements. I barely have 200 hours in GO. Because never really had a good enough PC to play it on, Been saving money for like 4 years now to buy a high end PC for once and then they do this.
It's still possible to play workshop maps in CS GO so I'm chilling.
Honestly this release is disappointing. They remove a perfectly polished game and replace it with a half finished game with so many issues, which even misses many of the key features/content of csgo.
No left hand
No bob
No netgraph
No workshop maps
No cache
Half of the wingman maps missing
64 tick hardcoded
If you delete the predecessor and force us to play the new instalment we can expect that it at least has the same amount of content, if not more.
I know time will fix this and in 1 year we’ll all be happy with CS2 but this release isn’t good in my opinion.
They forgot to release a game, it just had a weak update

I used to get about 150 fps on GO. Now I barely get 50.

I was upset that I couldn't change cl_bob anymore. It just feels like this is still beta, and the "beta" was really alfa version of the game.

i hate that they did not include SHORT MATCHES. When you get wrecked then you have to go through the entire time of a long match
in csgo i got +200 fps constantly and now in cs2 i get like 70-90fps with the lowest settings…

Basically what you said "They´ll add it later" how is that a release? AntiCheat is a joke atm, no custom games, no left hand, no fps counter and for some no performance. For a beta it´s good, for a release, it´s a joke.

for some reason I just can't play the game whenever I load comp around mid game it just freezes my whole pc it's so frustrating that I end up just alt+f4 and go do something else
they should 100% rerelease csgo as a new game since they when the easy road to not have to change the server and skin migration but its no reason to remove a game just for that
You'd be playing the game normally and then randomly, suddenly your game completely freezes, and you can't close the game, you have to close ur pc and then u get a competitive cooldown.
It happend to me twice and now its the first time i get a 2 hour cooldown, and from what ive heared they never decrease

Because CS2 is just a patch for CG:GO with features that are 3-4 years overdue. See also: Cyberpunk 2.0, Animal Crossing 2.0.
csgo_demo_viewer is the last csgo client , its not gone , community servers work fine , skins work fine

They should've kept go and also had cs2 out untill cs2 was on the point cs go achieved in 2015 with fixed hitboxes and everything it's unfair to remove a good game for a game that 1 moment feels perfect the other moment you shoot right through a person.
they need to fix CPU performance of the game.

Cs2 is unplayable without lefthand i'v been playing cs 10+ years. And i prefer left hand. Cant play on right hand it sucks for me😢
