If you are on PS5 there are a lot of people with this problem, please also send this to the support so there is some more pressure for this to get fixed.

This has happened to me two days in a row. My 12 hours on day one of Phantom Liberty just gone yesterday morning.
Happened a couple hours ago where I lost just 30 minutes and happened again like a minute ago. It’s so annoying.
Damn this is my worst nightmare, hope you figure out a fix 🙏
What triggered this to happen?
Uninstall Phantom Liberty and load a save from before the dlc released. Don’t play until the game is fixed.
Since there’s no segregated character saves, each of my manual saves is done twice in case I accidentally overwrite one. Hopefully this helps avoid problems like this as well!
Do you have backup saves via the cloud saving on ps5?
I will only buy this DLC after a patch or hot fix, just got a glitch oh the main game after 2.0, ain’t gonna risk it with the DLC too.
try loading a earlier file. Had the same issue and that was the only option i had.

i lost my first 35 hour save on pc
I can’t even start the game through RedLauncher, it keeps giving me an error on the Qt plugin platform In short, Steam is not counting the hours of play, it is not saving my saves in the cloud and no achievements
Ya i was like wtf just happpend i got level 60
I am literally locked in place myself. EVERY type of save I make after my most recent one ends up having the save corrupted issue no matter what, whether it was a fresh one or a base game overwrite. And I am running out of them and can’t risk it anymore. I literally cannot continue until this is fixed without losing all my progress from my most recent ‘safe’ save. I’m just pretty much waiting for a patch…
