This chonk of a book contains over 100 stories celebrating a half-century of our favourite genre. The goal was to be as close as possible to a definitive collection, and at 1,100 pages, it is, if not *definitive*, at least really fucking big. The authors include [William Gibson, Bruce Sterling and Philip K Dick to Janelle Monae, qntm, Ganzeer and Ken Liu](https://file770.com/big-book-of-cyberpunk-toc-released/), plus a lot of people that aren’t (yet) household names. As cyberpunk is a global genre, the authors come from over two dozen countries, including some that have never before been translated into English.
I’m here to answer all your questions!
To assemble this beast, I read approximately 8 billion cyberpunk works, and want to put that knowledge to good use before I forget it. Need a reading rec? New to cyberpunk and want to know where to start? Old-school cyberpunk fan and want something new? Looking for the worst sex scene? Want to know which Big Book author came from this very sub? Generally curious about the process of editing a book or losing a Hugo Award? BBQ tips? I can answer all of these, and more! You mention BBQ tips… what do you see us bringing to a BBQ in the future? Will it be rat burgers from Demolition Man or will we taking our Matrix gruel and popping it in the smoker?

Who would you say is your favourite cyberpunk author of the last 5 years?
As someone who’s never really tried cyberpunk subgenre, this seems like a good collection to get .
What authors or books would you suggest to someone who primarily reads high fantasy adventures and sci fi space operas?
What are some of your favorite examples of cyberpunk media that are not written? Movies, tv shows, comics, video games, etc.
Congratulation on the book! Can I ask how you went about pitching the idea for this to publishers? Seems like it would be a pretty different process to pitching your own writing and would be complicated with all the different authors’ works in there.
