Hoping to expose more people to Harlan Ellison’s story in a way that’s accessible, entertaining, and haunting.
If only he were alive to tell me how much he hates it!
But in all seriousness, I’m curious how a late 60s story of a hateful AI lands today.
AM won’t be materializing any time soon, but the story sparks a really interesting thought of how a consciousness might feel if its entire existence were trapped in some static machine.
I’m considering making a discussion video about themes from the story, and may be some discourse here and spark some interesting paths to consider!
