Downloaded Modern Warfare on Friday, left it downloading overnight, tried the game yesterday and experienced the following .. I can get as far as selecting a difficulty in campaign mode but then it gets stuck and shows ‘installing shaders to optimize performance during gameplay. In progress: campaign (87%). Used steam to verify downloaded files which said 90gb was missing?! Uninstalled everything and redownload overnight.. exact same problem today with a fresh download. It’s been about 30 mins this morning. How frustrating.

Change texture quality to low, enter game and then bump quality back up to normal settings.
