Based on what I’ve seen, it seems like the initial premise and setting draws a lot of inspiration from Escape from NY, but that what much of what you’ll be doing once the story is established has more of a James Bond/cyberthriller feel than the grimy action feel of a Snake Plissken adventure.

No, this is a completely different dystopian story about a mercenary with a bomb in their head that is going to kill them, going into a part of town that’s been isolated and is rife with crime to rescue the president who’s plane has crashed and they’re in the hands of the criminals.
