Phantom Liberty is often Cyberpunk 2077 at its very best. A gripping narrative complete with great characters adds another dimension to the open world RPG, while the main mission and side quest design remains top notch throughout. It’s a tremendous expansion that delivers a truly memorable experience.
Pros:
* Gripping story moments
* Fantastic characters
* Some top-tier missions
* Intense boss fights
* Dogtown art direction is superb
* Amazing soundtrack
* Dynamic events are a great addition
Cons:
* One particular mission is a bit of a drag
* Shallow dialogue choices at times
* Some minor bugs
Edit: Review has been taken down apparently. Will update the link once it’s up again.
Score: 9/10

30H ??? If it’s only for the main plot, that’s huge

30H is pretty insane.
Also lol I almost had to double take at ‘Boss Fights’ in Pros. I think the fact that it ended up being something worth noting in the review given how bland they were in the base game makes me pretty damn excited for 2.0 and whatever new content they’ve built around the new combat overhaul.

Once you enter Dogtown and begin PL, are you cut off from the rest of the game? Or are you free to exit Dogtown and interweave base game content with Dogtown missions? The review says Dogtown is “essentially cut off” from Night City, but doesn’t specify whether that’s more in regards to worldbuilding and Barghest’s control over the area, or whether you as the player are totally prohibited from leaving until you complete the expansion.

Sounds good so far.
I literally *just* finished my first playthrough like an hour ago that I had originally started back earlier this year and stopped after like 80 hours once I got to Nocturne OP55N1 (after doing all side jobs) because I didn’t want to end the story and was a little burned out after having to do the shit load of gigs I unintentionally skipped. I wanted to finish it before 2.0 dropped so I cut it close lmao.
Will be interesting to see how starting the PL story is structured and how the new features integrate into the main game itself.

30 hours sounds great to me.

9/10 Thank you.

Most of top players have beyond 500h, multiple patches endings. Not 30h is problem, problem is r/ff06b5 and noone solve it yet

The link is dead now. Was it released too early or can any of you others see it?

Link not working

For all talking about the link. The review BROKE EMBARGO. Embargo is not until THE MORNING OF THE 20TH. So still hours away. Really rare for a site like Push Square to do that. Clearly was on a timer and the reviewer/uploader assumed midnight, but that isn’t the case. 10am Eastern Time is the embargo
