I might get this CoD just because the Multiplayer looks better then MW2. As for zombies I don’t really expect it’s to be good.
The cinematic looks good, but so did Vanguard lol. This is really nothing at the end of the day. I need real gameplay and such to move me.
I see people saying the 4 dead are the orginal requiem crew, and Weaver. They better not be, talk about the lamest way of killing of the “main” character of the new zombies story + an original black ops character.

Lots of things to unpack here:
1. Victor Zakhaev is still alive (though at this point I’m not surprised).
2. Weaver and the Requiem heads are dead. They have been for a long while it seems, while protecting what seems to be the last bit of Aetherium.

Not traditional COD Zombies, but idgaf. I’m really hyped for zombies this year. Tried playing DMZ to be prepared for the gameplay and found myself having a really good time. It’ll be even better with zombies and without the PVP aspect.

I don’t even know what to think right now. There are so many questions: What lead Weaver Grey Strauss and Carver to die like that? What happened to Maxis? What happened with Peck? How much involvement does Ravenov have? But more importantly: Is there a point to have the Dark Aether story in CoD 2024? All stakes are lost when it comes to Weaver Grey Strauss Carver and Ravenov because we know how their stories end. Any attempts to stop whatever Eddie/The Director was doing obviously ends with the events of MW3 Zombies being able to occur.
I wonder if Chaos being in Vanguard isn’t canon to the DA story but rather the Devs telling us it’s coming back and the DA story is basically being left alone. But then again, I doubt Activision would let that happen because Treyarch would have to make actual zombies for Chaos to work. Only time will tell

Don’t be fooled we’re not falling for this misleading marketing trick again. Everybody is right to be skeptical about zombies this year, until proven otherwise. Especially after the mismanagement of expectations, with the way Vanguard was initially marketed. At the moment I’m very hesitant about this.

Don’t be buying just yet guys and gals, if it looks to good to be true it usually is and this looks too good to be true for what we’ve been given in the past 2-3 years.

1. Why would he throw and destroy the very thing they came to retrieve?
2. Why didn’t all people that were outside turn into zombies but only a few?

I’m interested in the story implications, but I don’t see myself ordering the game off this or anything. It’s gotta have good gameplay for me to be invested, and I’m not currently up for them chasing the outbreak formula over the classic round based loop. Still, they’ve managed to weave enough of a universe together that hearing the name Ravenov was enough to make me smile. So they’ve got that going for them.
