Its genuinely crazy to me that someone would rather continue an existing save than start again.

I really hope this update and dlc really makes the game good. I was an original Ps4 player and never touched the game again. Fast Forward to today and I have a decent pc and a ps5 now. I plan on trying to give it a second chance.
That has been my intention since the announcement, no way would I play with a previous pre 2.0 save! Everything will be different more or less.
Wait a while chooms and we’ll be hitting Night City again in no time!

The ultimate experience would be playing 2.0 AND Phantom Liberty together, not one or the other first, but together.
How old is this game? I feel I have not played it for 10 years, gonna be fun to do a new game with better hardware.
Are there more details about the things you might be missing? I really don’t have the time and energy to start a new game.
I’m only just past the heist quest. No need to restart. Conversely if I was at the end I would just finish the run.

Don’t know. Have a V ready that has only done NCPDs and XP loops. Shouldn’t miss much of everything else.
Even CDPR couldn’t handle amount of “should I start playing now or wait for Phantom Liberty” questions.
I did a new corpo profile and got through Act 1 to start phantom liberty and now I gotta do that again 🥲
Last time I completed the game was back before the 1.5 update, I can’t wait to see how it’s changed.
“Enhance your overall gameplay experience” sounds alot like corpo PR for “avoid bugs that are hard for us to fix”. Still not giving you a pass on CP2077 rollout, CDPR. Edit: expecting downvote brigade for this.
But will I want to start another new save when PL hits? Will there be items and changes that are present in the first ~5 hours of gameplay?

I’ve already had 3 playthroughs, I don’t wanna do all the missions all over again.
This sucks, some of us dont have time to replay the game over and over again, I like what Ive achieved in my one playthrough

Well that should be common sense. Trying to use a old save after a huge amount of changes have been made is just silly. Why use a old save and miss out on all of the new content?

What about should we wait for PL to drop to do a new playthrough or start with 2.0? I don’t want to start a new playthough on 2.0 and potentially miss out on any extra dialogue that PL might add to the base game.
There is just absolutely no way I am beating this game for a fourth time. Shit better work fine if people choose not to do this.
I’ve been avoiding launching the game so I enjoy my fresh run more, BG3 keeping me plenty occupied and dreaming of 5e cyberpunk…
