Totally agree with this assessment, I’d of put the fire immunity as a con though, it’s very hit and miss to get to work

IX is wonderful, a lot of people consider it BO4’s peak, and for good reason! There’s a ton to love about it, and a small amount to dislike, which we’ll cover now.
Yeah, the Gladiator and Brawler spawns are a bit excessive. They aren’t hard boss zombies, there’s just a metric fuck ton of them, and that can definitely be a bit annoying. I agree, I’ve tried to get the Iron Bull like, six times, I just can’t do it, and it probably isn’t worth the effort. And, uhhh, that’s kind of it for cons it has for me. I really like this map, what can I say.
This map looks fucking gorgeous. From the bright coliseum, to the vibrant themed temples of the Gods, to the dark, brutal dungeon downstairs. There’s a great visual progression in the map, it looks *really* nice. The setup process is really easy! You go to the top of the temples, bang the gong, fight a miniboss, and hopefully you’re clued in that you have to do that for the other three temples. And that’s it, PaP is open! Why do so many people think these newer Zombies games are impossible to figure out the basics of without a 20 minute guide, again? Anyway, off topic. I appreciate that Chaos got a gladiatorial makeover, I always love characters dressing up uniquely for a map. The wonder weapon for this map is the Serket’s Kiss/Death of Orion, and it’s a very good one! Like you said, when charged up, it gives a Wunderwaffe-like effect, stunning Zombies, while spreading the electricity to others, steadily damaging and killing them. It’s not an overpowered wonder weapon made to make the player feel like an unkillable beast, but it’s a very useful addition to the arsenal, and a fun one, imo. Also, it’s a scorpion, how cool is that? The Brazen Bull is also nice, BO4’s shields in general are really good, you can tell they spent a while on these, alone. The challenges are really good! You can get a PaPed starting pistol by round 4 if you’re good enough, and man does it feel good to steamroll the next few rounds with it. Also, free perks, which is always appreciated! The crowd favor is a simple mechanic, but it’s a fun one, rewarding the player for playing well and not getting hit terribly often with various power ups! The elephants are a really fun boss fight, great ending to a good EE. And lastly (though there’s a lot more to mention), like with Voyage, and all of BO3, there’s so many little side EE’s you don’t have to do, but you can, if you want to see more of what the map has to offer. You love to see it.
Whether you love or hate BO4, it’s nearly impossible to come up with an argument that this map actually sucks. Mostly because, well, it doesn’t. It does so much right, and not a whole lot wrong. And while nothing was beating Shadows in the competition for best launch map, IX certainly came close, and that’s a feat to be praised. 9.4/10

IX is a really fun map with a great atmosphere and vibe, mostly good special enemies (tigers kinda sucked a lot at launch, and catalysts are still annoying here), a weird and unique wonder weapon, and a great boss fight at the end of the EE. It’s a map that can be played both casually and more seriously, but is probably best played somewhere in the middle for me personally. And I can’t help but mention the music and music video for this map is fucking great. My only major complaint is that a fair bit of the EE is pretty much impossible to figure out on your own without a guide and even with a guide I find trying to spot certain small objects hidden in a mass of similar looking objects while at least one zombie tries persistently to rip my throat out to be rather annoying. 9/10.
