I personally prefer the redesign over the original by a wide margin. When you describe someone as “cyberpunk future madam president of the US, former CEO of world’s largest PMC/Weapons Manufacturer”, I definitely picture the Myers in PL, compared to the edgy 20-something street kid placeholder they initially used.

I like the redesign way more. Looks actually presidential. Just because it’s a cyberpunk setting doesn’t mean the president is going to look like a fucking elf streetkid like the original design.
