What are the chances the real Solomon died here and the one we meet in Phantom Liberty is someone else?

Maybe, or maybe he did some cool spy shit to make those guys think they got the real one.

Maybe he was saved like Johnny and “somehow returned”

I’m pretty sure he’s the one that fired the missile to take down the President’s space plane seven years later.

You heard his voice. Maybe it’s an extension on Mikoshi. Soul tech further developed? I’m just being hopeful.

  5. It wouldn’t be the first time CDPR show us the death of an important character in a trailer

Considering CP’s trailers are always full of story spoilers i guess he did die

I think that might not even be him. We saw his Jacket change completely, and in the future, who guarantees that there isn’t any gov. Tec that can change your outward appearance? Maybe he switched positions in the tunnel sequence with one of the assassins and let the big guy shoot his buddy

I gotta be honest…PL just isn’t motivating a sale out of me. Oh, the updates and the hype surrounding it makes me want to do another playthrough of CP77, no lie, but after the trailer, I feel like I saw enough, and just want to dive back into the Night City I know. Yes, yes, I’m aware this isn’t the official r/badtakes sub, but still.

I just don’t see how he didn’t die. He is badly hurt in the last shot and falling and there are at least two dudes that are not hurt at all. More shots follow that.

    Very confusing.

He might be a construct. Those guys are wearing saka armor. He probably knows a lot of things. That maybe the deal they were talking about his death in return of So Mi’s wayout of NC

People in Cyberpunk came back to life from more than that. Just ask Adam Smasher. Hell, ask >!V. V gets a bullet in the head!< and then wakes up, and manages to get to Vik. Remember how Viktor said he “has to cut through the occipital bone”? That means the slug was smack in the middle of the brain, or maybe even near the back of the head (shot in the face btw). And nothing. Relic patched it up, at least enough to keep consiousness and get to a doctor.

  12. Guessing he did die but Songbird managed to bring him back using relic tech. Based on what Idris said, she had no choice but to betray Solomon, but perhaps she planned to bring him back after. Or less likely, maybe that was the plan of whoever caused her to betray him, I’m guessing Arasaka, to use as a test case for the relic.

She clearly knows a lot about the relic given the fact that she not only finds V due to the relic, but also offers V relic upgrades. The relic is meant to be a top secret project, at least that was my understanding, so her in-depth knowledge is quite sus 🤔

What if they’re just teasing the ending of his story like they did with Jackie.

Could be one of the endings where you help songbird.

Songbird also didn’t remember the taco place she apparently took him to. I’m gonna guess she’s not the only / real one either

I swear if they spoiled some shit like Jacky. I’m gonna start tweaking…..

If that was Solomon, he is dead. They shot him 3 or 4 times center mass. There’s no way they’ll walk just assuming that he is dead. They will need verification of death.
