I’ve already bought a monitor arm to replace the ugly monitor stand.
I’m wondering what I need to do to fix this ugliness, there’s no harmony. So many beautiful cozy battlestations out here and I need to fix this mess
Should I add LED strips around the desk mat and the monitor? If so, what color should they be? I’m thinking white.

I’m all for dark setups but you need some lamp/light on that table sir.

I would say choose some things you like and see if you can find items that reflex that. Then go from there.

I would say it’s fine as a base, throw in a plant or two and add a little to the wall behind it. Posters for movies you like, design art for cars, basically anything that aligns with your hobbies or just some art you think looks nice. Yeah, the table could be nicer, but honestly it’s totally fine. Down the road you can upgrade it, but for now it’s fine. Just sprinkle a little bit of your personality on the setup 🙂
