Let us just play pretend for a moment. Let us pretend that they went through that many matches that were (gameplay-wise) 1-second-long minimum. Well, there are 10 unskippable seconds to select your loadout before a match starts, and adding the 1 second of actual match gameplay brings us to 11 seconds minimum per match. So we’ll pretend that connection is literally instant, and they disconnect/reconnect to a new match immediately after the match hits 1 second. (Despite that being physically impossible).

    That’s 11 seconds per lobby. 11 seconds x 22201179 matches = 244,212,969 seconds.

    244,212,969 seconds = 7.74 years. So about 7 years and 9 months.

The game came out about November 3rd, 2017. It is currently September 4th, 2023. Subtracting the 7 years and 9 months brings us back to around December 2015/January 2016. Basically, before the game came out.

    In other words: They cheated.
