Starfield is a game shrouded in mystery, not because of its lack of marketing but because the game is so massive that no matter how many trailers they show, there’s always so much more to discover.
An entire galaxy to explore seems like an unreal dream for a lover of open-world games like myself, and the amount of unknown content hiding out in the great beyond is beckoning me towards adventure.
But despite the vast infinity hiding out in the galaxy, I can’t help but feel drawn towards Earth and see what has become of our mother planet.

I know I am going to love this game, but after hearing extremely disappointing information regarding blatant lies from Bethesda, I now know that Starfield IS just Fallout in "space" without actual planets. 🙁😥😢😭
Like I said, I am almost certain I am still going to love this game, but it was a massive kick in the balls and a stab in the back to realize that Todd lied to us… again.
If it's SF, it's probably only inhabited by the homeless at that point.
I thought I'd heard that earth was supposed to be a barren planet or something because of the typical nuclear war or something.
They have said you can't explore earth, it faced a end of the world event that made it complete barren and inhospitable. Aka Bethesda didn't want to take the time to build ruined cities to explore.
By the time Starfield's timeline starts San Francisco will be a city over taken completely by the homeless with 75% of businesses closed down, and Austin will have over taken it as the tech capitol of the USA. Austin already has so many large tech firms opening their 2nd or 3rd HQ's here that its inevitably going to cause an effect were more will come here simply because all the talent is moving here with the larger tech companies.
If you understand anything about game development and the labour/costs involved then I wouldn't put my faith in getting an actual city on Earth. You have to be realistic about these things. Don't get your hopes up kiddo.
1. No Such thing as corporate greed. 2. I don't think you understand how brutal Starfield is going to be. One of the Religious factions worhisps a great celestial serpent and they want to kill and rob the unbelievers. There's going to be gangs. Drug dealers. Murderers. Pirate fleets wanting to steal and blow people up. Creatures that kill people if they venture outside of the city. Starfield is going to be just as brutal as Fallout, albeit a bit more realistic. The UC and FSC are practically in a state of constant cold war.
I totally understand your desire for aliens, that's ok. My opinion: sentient aliens is overdone mass effect, star wars, star trek, predator n aliens and I'm happy starfield is what it is.
A few hours left, let fans enjoy, let the haters hate!
Make more opinion/ lore videos.
I’m a little scared of how they’ll handle earth. They won’t be able to make every city on the planet in ruins so it seems like much of the ruins will be buried under tons of dirt and shit but idk I’m still excited for the game.
I hope it's like the Oblivion movie with Tom Cruise. Small and fragmented inhabitants with relics of the past in various places.
I hope they add whatever world Skyrim is on.
I was looking at my analytics wondering how it was possible that of the 2k views this videos has I'd only gained 8 subs, when it occurred to me that at a glance this looks like starfield exploration gameplay.
I'm sorry if the video gave you this impression as I hate clickbait in all it's forms, I'll work on phrasing my titles and thumbnails better.
Why is “video essay” in the title?
I don't know yet but graphics doesn't look satisfying.
