I know little to none about PC specs but would really love to have a gaming PC as my old Xbox is terrible and I want to broaden my horizons. What do you think of this setup?

We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Assuming it is USD, then its not too bad, the possibility of a GPU failure or upgrade is close, but depending on what you’re using it for, it should last you a bit. If you could lower it too 450. it’ll be perfect.
I remember when a 1080 would be like 500$ lmao. Imo, it’s a good deal, good gpu (maybe a little dated) good cpu, good RAM, a pretty good cooler, and a solid MOBO.
$450-$400 because that GPU is dated and likely will be the first thing to die. The rest looks decent to me
