She’s spider murphy. How the fuck can just some rando hack into your mainframe and project themselves into your mind inside literally the most secure biochip ever invented. How the fuck anyone outside Arasaka knows about this biochip and Johnny’s engram being there? Yes relic is known to public, but johnny’s chip is the new version and literally nobody outside of Arasaka family and Hellman could even know about this tech so how does Songbird just access the Relic?
So why exactly songbird is Murphy?
– Well we know Murphy was the one who created johnny’s engram when he died by using soul killer on him, and she was also known to be a friend with Alt so technically she should have extended knowledge about how soul killer works, she could also leave some backdoors to be able to easily track the engram
– Morgan Blackhand was aligned with NUSA/Militech so it makes sense Murphy would be too and after the heist she would join them and become their analyst or some shit
– Murphy is known to be using a virtual avatar of anime waifu with red hair. Does this sound familiar? Yeah exactly, Song bird is a redhead (pink-ish) anime waifu. So the Songbird we talk to might not even be real, she also could be using voice filter so Johnny does not recognize her. But could she have also undergone surgeries kinda like Hanako or Kerry to keep her look young.
Storywise, personally i think Nusa / militech has learned about the chip version 2.0 being stolen and they knew Johnny was on it thanks to Murphy and they are now trying to eliminate him since they are afraid of him starting another conflict between Arasaka and militech. We know from the base game that Arasaka is itching for another war but militech seems to be unprepared so they are trying to avoid the war for as long as possible and another Johnny’s terorrist attack could be easily framed as a provocation by Militech and that’s not what Militech wants so they send Spider Murphy to find Johnny and dispose of him. While Myers goes to night city in case something fucks up and she can resume peace talks but Barghest and Hansen fuck this up by sniping her plane and crashing it into their district which forces Songbird to change her plans and use you as a tool to save the president first.

Idk but lets be honest its all gonna the the same BS. They are just going to use V (us) to get w.e they want with the promise of saving our life and in the end they are not gonna do shit. We have gone thru this before and in the end it will be the same shit they get what they want from us and they leave us in the same spot dying with a ticking time bomb on our head.
