Good Lord, this brings back some OLD memories. My dad, a life-long computer geek bought me a C64 when I was a kid and as I remember, my mom was LIVID that he spent over 200 dollars on me in what, 1981? Anyway, when I wrote them a few checks for a grand each 20 years later to help them out from my Web site building money, I think she finally forgave him.

Lots of memories seeing this! We had one when I was in primary school (Australia).
Dad got it from somewhere, C64, disk drive and many disks and a few cartridges.
I had a notebook where I wrote down how to load all the games, I figured it out after getting some tips on where to start 😃
Didn’t have a monitor, just used a TV.
Would have spent many hours playing games and just using it, and now I work in IT.
