Firing the Olympia gives my brain the “feel good” chemicals, which is the entire reason I play the video games.
For funsies tbh. M14 is easily the better starter choice but i like getting olympia instead as a small challenge. Hades is also a beast of a gun tbh despite low ammo count, even if there are better wall weapon choices
Some people like shotguns , at close range a single shot from the Olympia is more powerful than a single shot from the m14. But, because they are starter weapons weaker weapons tend to be better bc a weaker weapon means more points, which is exactly what a starter weapon is meant to do. Factor in the m14 has better range , and headshot capabilities, and better ammo Capacity, then almost everyone sees the m14 is obviously better, however sometimes shotguns are fun to spice things up.

I’ll always buy the M14 for more points in the beginning, but I have absolutely no complaints using a PaP’ed Olympia later on. The incendiary rounds are so sick.
Because the olympia is funny while the m14 provides absolutely nothing of value. Just knife and pistol until round 3 when you can buy an mp5k or something useful. And I will die on the hill of mpl>m14.
Even tho I’m m14 gang forever the Olympia is cool looking and sounding + it feels good to shoot

Un pack a punched… yea the Olympia isn’t all that. But pack a punched, it’s a pretty decent shotgun and it will carry u up until the twenties. Gotta love that dragon’s breath
I do it for a challenge and also cuz zombie looks cool when on fire
For some challenges it’s just better or the only option. Die rise starting room it’s all you got and nuketown starting room with friends can get really hectic without the hades being able to clear you a path in 1 or 2 quick shots (depending on where you train compared to your friends m14 is still better)
The olympia puts in work, just gotta know how to use it.
