    What writers of mid-twentieth century dystopia (such as Orwell) got wrong wasn’t that we’d have our privacy rights taken away, it was that we would give them away involuntarily.

    What, so if a famous actor walks into an Apple store, then Apple automatically gets the right to use their likenesses to make movies?
